thank you in advance
no , that doesn’t mean that you were declined , but they will look at your credit report and will determine after . don’t worry when you apply online , the information of your credit report enters their computer as points , if it matches their limit , you will be approved right away , if it didnt . a representative has to look at it and then tells you . ![]()
you will be approved
I am looking at Wired plastic and All Access prePaid Visa. Basically you pay the card at a location or western union and you have money that you deposited. They may charge you monthly fee, etc.
Can may of you please recommend a good one you’ve been using?
Stay away from those "prepaid" cars rip offs. There are too many hidden fees, charges and if you do not use it within a specified time, you loose whatever balance you had.
Your better off to obtain a secured credit card at any bank or credit union. You deposit the funds and they hold them in case you do not pay the monthly bill. The more you deposit, the higher the credit limit and most do not charge for this service.
It’s a good way to start to build your credit, look into it.
Hope this answer helps you out.
I have 3 credit cards with $500 credit each. I want one credit card that can hold $1500 instead. what can I do? Are there offers or promotions anywhere that guarantee you pre-approval?
Thanks
I guess I shouldve been more clear.
I do NOT have any debt, I owe $0. Everything is paid off in full at the end of every month, I just want to increase my credit limit with a new card but I’ve been getting declined ![]()
Try Capital One. They are the best around. Flexible and have different option cards.
What is a great credit card (secured or unsecured) for someone with bad credit?
I am considering the WAMU SECURED VISA.
I am looking to simply use this card for mainly online purchases, monthtly reocurring payments. I plan to pay it off at end of month. (Or leave a small balance)
Want some links, some suggestions. Particularly those who have used WAMU Secured Visa. It is the bank I bank with so naturally that comes to mind, but just because it is my bank doesnt mean it is best..although I do have a hard time getting my mind off it it because i do bank there.
Being that I’m a credit analyst and underwriter for a particular credit card company, I would have first hand knowledge on this subject.
You definitely have the right idea as far as how to use the card. Make SMALL purchases that can be paid off in full on time every month, and also it helps to raise the limit by increasing the security deposit.
Also it helps when you’re already a customer, with accounts that’s in good standing. It’s relatively easier to open an account when the security deposit can be drafted right out of the account you specify.
There are other secured cards that are offered by other major banks such as Bank of America, Wells Fargo, USBank, to name a couple. I posted links to all the ones that I know that you can access on line in the source field.
Aside from opening up one from WaMu, I would suggest opening up another one to help build your credit with 2 major credit cards even more. I’ve used the Bank or America and Orchard Bank secured cards, and they’re pretty decent to help build your credit.
As for the WaMu secured card, go for it!
I thank you for reading, and good luck!

not annual fee is out of sight — since you are new try your bank where you have your checking account and they know you as a person!!!!
All the credit cards I look into have all kinds of fees. Set up fee, maintenance fee, etc. I am looking for a card for people with poor credit without all the fees.
Capital One has a credit card for people with no credit and bad credit. It doesn’t have any yearly fees. I got the card when I was in high school and didn’t have any credit. I have not been charged any fees. I think they will only charge a fee if your late(which I’m assuming you wont be late since your using it to rebuild your credit, right?). I think capitalone is real easy to use and pay epically since you can set your account up online and pay online for free.
Just go to www.capitalone.com and you can find a card for you.
I live in the Us, in Mass..my credt score is around 500, not so good and im only 23, but I need a credit card with at the very elast $1000 credit limit. Is it possible to find one where I dont have to pay the balance first like a secured limit? I want unsecured so I can establish credit…is there any place someone might know of that gives a card to bad credit customers even with a higher credit limit??? Thanks
http://cards.hotusa.org – try this one. I personally use their card.
As I know it accepts everyone, even if a person has bad credit.
